Neck Lift

A neck lift, also known as lower rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the neck by addressing sagging skin, excess fat, and muscle laxity. Over time, factors such as aging, gravity, and weight fluctuations can lead to the development of loose skin, prominent neck bands, and the formation of jowls.

During a neck lift, the surgeon typically makes incisions behind the ears and/or under the chin to access the underlying tissues. They then tighten the neck muscles, remove excess fat, and trim away any surplus skin before closing the incisions. This results in a smoother, firmer neck contour and a more defined jawline.

Neck lift surgery can effectively rejuvenate the neck area, providing a more youthful and balanced appearance. It is often sought by individuals who are bothered by signs of aging in the neck region or who desire a more contoured neckline. Neck lift procedures can be performed alone or in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation surgeries, such as facelifts or eyelid lifts, for more comprehensive results.
